Keep On Marching follows the stories of five women who helped shape the Environmental Justice Movement and who today are helping to galvanize it once again in response to a new era of political backlash.

As funding disappears and hard-won protections are rolled back in an attempt to erase civil rights history, the film traces the movement past and present as it regroups. From the historic protests in North Carolina that defined environmental justice to the leaders still carrying that work forward today, it tells a story of progress, backlash, and resistance.

Part film, part living archive, and part resource for today’s environmental justice challenges, Keep On Marching captures this critical moment, connecting the people and stories behind the movement and ensuring that decades of knowledge, struggle, and leadership are not lost but carried forward.
